Coach David Knott

David moved from Ottawa, Ontario in 1985 to become one of the first members of the FHS Black Kats Football Team under the Current UNB Coaches Mike Demello, Mike Dollimore, and the famous Don Davis now at St. FX. In their second season in 1986, and the first ever undefeated season, David was named Most Valuable Player. It earned him a Scholarship to St. Francis Xavier University where he started at Defensive Corner his Rookie Year and continued for 4 years after that. Once graduating from X, David moved to Calgary, Alberta and coached at various levels and schools as a Position Coach and at Coordinator positions over 15 years. Notably, in his last 3 he coached Quarterbacks with the Henry Wisewood Trojans helping to take the team to 3 Senior High School City Championship Finals. Currently, David is the Head Coach on the Junior Varsity Black Kats and Coaches in the Fredericton Spring CAMFA League.
