The scheduled kickoff of the Red Bombers training camp is still TBA but [updated Aug. 20, 2009] “Training camp” will start on September 7th at 5pm 3pm at Chapman field and it is expected that organized team activities will be coordinated with the kickoff of the academic year. As for now start running and getting in shape. Toss the ball around with your buddies.
Get ready for football guys. We can only manage a 40ish person team so it is possible there will be cuts and believe me you want to be part of UNB Red Bomber history.

The coach is right. You can believe that UNBSJ is salivating over a potential win and their training camp will be earlier than ours.
See you all at the opening game on the 26th of Sept.

No doubt all the teams in the league will be hungry for the first W Jim. I saw that UNBSJ is getting out early, and they can do that since most of their players will be local guys. We’re going to have a very geographically diverse team I think so we can’t really get underway until everyone is back at school.
We’ll just have to make up for the little bit of lost time by working that much harder.

Any idea on the number of players already registered anyone?
We’re at 36 right now and they are coming in fast!
Whats the current amount of registrations recieved?
Im getting mixed reports about the start of training camp. Is it monday at 7pm or 3pm?
How many people are registered?
